OOO JUGPK Novotroizk recently awarded ZAB-Industrietechnik und Service GmbH a contract for engineering and equipment supply for a new cement production plant with a capacity of 3000 tpd of clinker. The plant will be erected in Novotroizk in the area of Orenburg.

KHD Humboldt Wedag GmbH, Germany and its subsidiary ZAB-Industrietechnik und Service GmbH will provide engineering services and supply equipment ranging from mixed beds for raw materials, to the cement terminal for dispatch of packed and bulk cement. The scope of supply for the raw grinding section includes the following KHD technology:

Roller press RP13-170/140.

V-Separator VS 96/26.

The pyroprocessing section will include the following KHD technology:

5-stage preheater, PYROCLON(r)-R calciner with PYROTOP(r) compact mixing chamber and calciner burner.

PYRORAPID(r) rotary kiln (4.4 m dia. x 52 m) with tertiary air duct and PYRO-JET(r) kiln burner.

PYROFLOOR(r) clinker cooler with hammer crusher.

For the cement grinding section, KHD will supply:

Ball mill (5.0 m dia. x 14.4 m length).

SEPMASTER(r) high efficiency separator, type SKS-Z 3250.
